Admissions

The M.Sc. in Wound Healing is designed for applicants with a baccalaureate degree (in any subject) and no prior graduate study.

Admission Requirements

A baccalaureate degree is required for admission into the graduate program.

International applicants must hold an International Baccalaureate® Diploma or comparable baccalaureate qualification.

American applicants must have graduated from a regionally accredited or state-approved institution of higher education and earned a 4-year baccalaureate degree in any subject.

In addition, each student must have completed college-level courses in the following subjects.

Anatomy or Physiology (with or without laboratory)
Biological Sciences (with or without laboratory)
Chemistry or Physics (with or without laboratory; with or without calculus)

No advanced standing is granted for comparable courses taken previously or work experience.

No transfer credit is granted for coursework taken elsewhere.

All applicants must submit transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate coursework from all colleges and universities attended.

All applicants must demonstrate a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 for all prior coursework.

All applicants must submit two Letter of Reference from individuals commenting on the applicant’s academic and professional potential.

International Students

The University of Providence will admit qualified international students as degree seeking students. International students must submit the following documents to be considered for admission to the University:

1. A completed application for admission.

2. A completed Financial Statement certifying the student’s ability to meet the cost of tuition.

3. Official certified copies, in English, of certificates, diplomas, degrees, and course transcripts from secondary schools through the highest level of education achieved.

4. An official credential evaluation report from a credential evaluation service that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services or from InCred through the NAIA.

5. International students whose native or original language is not English are required to submit official results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam. Requests for information about TOEFL may be directed to TOEFL, Education Testing Service, P.O. Box 899, Princeton, NJ 08540 (or to your local education authorities).

6. Adequate documentation of immunization against measles and rubella, typically in the form of two MMR vaccines, as required by the State of Montana Code Annotated 20-5-403.

7. A color photocopy of a valid passport.

8. A tuition deposit of $150 is required before students may register for classes. (Non-refundable after May 1, 2022).
